Board Certified Holistic Health Doctor
Natural health was not a part of my history. Truth be told, I couldn’t have written a definition for the same if asked for most of my adult life. It wasn’t until my symptoms were piling up and I felt their effect on my body not only physically but mentally, spiritually, and emotionally that I started to wonder if I would ever heal. Sick with one thing or another since a little girl, I felt challenged and frustrated by lack of insight and not being heard by my doctors. I had reached a point where I didn’t want yet another prescription offered or one more doctor shrugging their shoulders telling me that I was fine (even though I felt the exact opposite). I wanted to be in control of my body and what was being put into it. Most importantly, I desperately needed more energy to enjoy my life and loved ones. I wanted to be able to once again do the things that brought me joy. I was tired of feeling lost, alone, not at peace and filled with fear.
Heavenly Health is family-operated. Yes, I worked hard to become a doctor, but I will always be a mama and wife first. My son Jack works with me while he goes to high school online and keeps the office running smoothly. Our golden retriever, Gus, can often be found there as well as he brings me joy during my long workdays.
Heavenly Health is also education-centered. I firmly believe we should all know exactly why our health as gotten to the state that it is in and what it needs to stay healthy.
I pride myself on being knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about what I do. I credit this to learning from some of the best in the natural health field at both the Naturopathic Institute of Therapies and Trinity School of Natural Health. I am extensively trained in nutrition, bodywork techniques, flower remedies and homeopathy. The titles earned through these learning institutions enhanced my Master of Science degree in Education that I received from St. John’s University in New York. Proudly married for almost 21 years, my husband and I have three teenagers. When I’m not assisting clients, I can usually be found tending to my flower and herb gardens, playing with Gus, relaxing on my porch, or hopelessly rooting for the New York Mets and Giants.
Happily married for over 20 years and the mother of three teenagers.
